For ANM Course

Eligibility Criteria for ANM Admission 2025

• The candidate must be at least 17 years old on or before 31st December 2025.
• The maximum age for admission is 35 years.
• Minimum educational qualification:
  • Passed 10+2 in Arts (subjects may include Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology, Economics, Political Science, History, Geography, Business Studies, Accountancy, Home Science, Sociology, Psychology, Philosophy) and English Core/Elective
    OR
  • Passed 10+2 in Health Care Science (Vocational stream) from a recognized board.
• Candidates must be medically fit.
• Those who have passed 10+2 Arts or Science from the National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) are also eligible.
• Only female candidates are eligible for the ANM course.

Eligibility Criteria for GNM Admission 2025

• The minimum age for admission is 17 years and the maximum age is 35 years as of 31st December 2025.
• There is no age limit for candidates who are ANM/LHV registered.
• Minimum educational qualifications:
  • Passed 10+2 in Science (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) and English with at least 40% aggregate marks.
  • Passed 10+2 with English securing a minimum of 40% marks in aggregate and individually in English, from a recognized board. Candidates from State Open Schools and NIOS recognized by the government are also eligible.
  • Passed 10+2 with English and obtained 40% marks in Vocational ANM course from a school recognized by the Indian Nursing Council (INC).
  • Passed 10+2 with English and secured 40% marks in Vocational Health Care Science stream from a recognized CBSE board/center.
• Candidate must be registered as ANM with the State Nursing Registration Council, if applicable.
• The candidate must be medically fit.
• Those who have passed 10+2 Arts or Science in the Health Care Science (Vocational stream) from NIOS with at least 40% marks are also eligible.
